Life Choices is able to do its work based solely on the donations of local community
organizations such as churches, individuals and businesses. We are coming up on 3
years in operation.
By participating in our Earn While You Learn program, our clients focus on the issues
that need to be dealt with prior to the birth of their child. Week by week our mentors
work with clients to: build solid parenting skills; break cycles of abuse and neglect;
bolster reluctant fathers’ confidence in their abilities (we have male counselors who
work exclusively with dads); counsel on personal responsibility and goal setting; listen;
understand; and provide spiritual and emotional guidance for some very deep
problems!
While this work is going on, clients are earning the baby supplies they need and usually
cannot afford. Because of our community supporters, we are able to provide
everything these new families need, and they work hard to earn it! In the long run, the
families who come through the program are strengthened physically, mentally,
emotionally and spiritually. This equates to better outcomes for the children involved
and for the community as a whole.

Center Needs:
- Mostly - a monthly pledge from your organization. Any amount! $10, $20 or more! This helps
us plan our budget and won't strain yours! - Donations of office supplies: paper, toner, file folders, etc.
- New or like new baby and maternity items.
- Your time, if you have it to spare. We need counselors (will train), Mommy Store workers, and
office help.
